Review of Attack of the Monsters

The plot of this movie is based on three children who stumble upon a flying saucer. The two boys in the trio are taken away to a planet that is in the Earth’s orbit on the other side of the sun. Two women with Midwestern accents inhabit the plant and hypnotize the children so that they begin to fantasize about donuts, milk and a hero turtle, Gamera. In reality, all the women want to do is consume the brains of the children. Meanwhile, the little girl is back home and trying to convince someone to listen to her about the alien abduction; however no one will believe her.

She even tries to convince a police officer, but that doesn’t work either. Eventually Gamera follows the kids and is forced to come to blows with a monster who has a knife for a head, Guillion. There are a lot of scenes in this movie featuring the kids wandering around what appears to be interminably long corridors and talking about alien technology.
