Review of Dead Aim
If you’re a fan of spaghetti westerns, you’ll be sure to love this one. The
story starts off with a kid by the name of Lucky Johnny who is rescued from a
rattlesnake bite by an undertaker. Well, if that’s not lucky, what is? The
undertaker takes in Lucky Johnny and the boys helps him with his funeral
business until between the two of them they decide they should try to do better
for themselves and go after their own fortune. A couple of different subplots
are introduced involving two stage robbers who haven’t been able to make it big
as well as a cavalryman who has found himself falling victim to some
unscrupulous bounty hunters.
You’ll find some absolutely amazing cinematography in this film as well as an
excellent musical score. This is a movie that could easily be watched again and
again, especially with the intriguing subplot and great characterization. Even
if you’re not a huge fan of spaghetti westerns the plot and musical score will
still keep you interested all the way to the end.
