Review of Drive-in Massacre
The plot of this film starts off with two police detectives in their quest
to catch a serial killer who is stalking a drive-in movie theater located in
rural Texas. Perhaps even more disturbing is the fact that the killer seems to
have no method to his madness. He randomly kills people using his weapon of
choice, a sword.
If you’re a fan of ‘70’s era horror flicks, this is one film you won’t want to
miss. The suspense is handled well throughout the film to its satisfying, and
surprising, conclusion. The storyline takes a strong depart from most slasher
films, focusing on the investigation of the two policemen as they attempt to
solve the gory murders. There are also some great comedic relief moments that
keep the film going.
