Review of Cosmos War of the Planets
In this film, which takes place in the future, all decisions are made by The
WIZ, which is a giant supercomputer.
A renegade space captain, Mike Leighton, has been sent on what should have been
a routine mission; however, everything goes awry when his ship is attacked by
two alien ships. After receiving orders from Earth he lands his ship on the
alien planet, which he believes at first to be deserted. A mysterious force soon
attacks and kills one of his crew men; however. The captain and the remainder of
his men are then lured into a cave where they come in contact with what remains
of the planet’s former inhabitants. The natives then inform the captain and his
crew that they were forced out of control of the planet when machines they had
built took over. After hearing of their plight, the captain agrees to help them
by destroying the mega computer.
It appears as though they may have found the secret to destroying the evil
supercomputer and are making their escape from the doomed planet; however, a
surprising twist threatens to take them down with it.
If you are a fan of the first episodes of Star Trek and Lost in Space, you will
love this film.
